Chilly 8 degrees but weather not looking too bad. Just a little high level cloud that looks like it will go away. The BOM says max 18. I think we're in for a nice first days ride.
The plan is to camp in the Hattah National park. The plan was also to meet up at 6:30 this morning but this doesn't seem to have happened.
The bike is all packed and ready to except for the tank bag of plenty which seems to be turning into the center console of motorbiking. I can't believe how much is stuff there is under the category of miscellaneous bits. Most of it seems to be cables and connectors of one sort or another.
Feeling all excited and looking forward to settling into the trip.
